Having worked in the aquatic industry for over 20 years, fish keeping is something I have always been very passionate about!

I spent many years specialising in Japanese koi, working for some of the country's leading koi centres including "The World of Koi" & "The Nishikigoi Centre". During this time I have been fortunate to build up many great relationships throught the industry with product suppliers, manufacturers & Japanese koi breeders, enabling me to have a great understanding & knowledge base of all koi and pond related products.

Looking after Japanese koi in a busy retail environment for so long forced me to learn alot about disease detection and treatments, as well as how to establish a healthy environment for all types of fish. The years of experience in koi health is what enables Mr Pond to offer a professional fish health consultancy service.

Having also previously worked for a pond maintenance & pond building company for over 5 years, in this role I discovered my new passion of creating Waterfalls & beautiful aquascaped ponds. The sound of flowing water crashing over rock with the majestic vision of beautiful fish swimming in crystal clear water is a bit of tranquility I believe all gardens should have! 

Mr Pond has been created to achieve just that, utilising our extensive knowledge & experience, we are able to create a beautifully aquascaped pond to fit any space or help with pond restoration, pond cleaning, provide regular pond maintenance for your existing pond, or even be on hand to carry out fish health visits when things go wrong!
